Odalys Flores brings over 12 years of agency and in-house public relations experience. Prior to joining POV, she served as the primary media relations strategist and day-to-day account management for several consumer accounts in the food space at Porter Novelli. She also has a wealth of knowledge across the travel, tourism and hospitality industry where she spent the first 10 years of her career in.
She enjoys establishing relationships with journalists and finding unique story angles to pitch them, all while helping tell her client’s stories. She’s always on the lookout for how she can best leverage media opportunities and loves executing media events. Some of her career highlights include helping launch the first California Michelin guidebook, showcasing the Bay Area’s culinary scene on season 4 of Netflix’s Somebody Feed Phil, and filming NBC’s Today with Kathy Lee & Hoda in Venice Beach.
She holds a B.A in Communications from Loyola Marymount University and an M.A. in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California. When she’s not working, you can find her trying out a new coffee shop, exploring the outdoors alongside her husband and toddler or dining al fresco.
