Kate and Pilaar started their careers together at Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli, where Kate secured placement in film & television for companies such as Yum! Brands, Diageo, Gateway Computers, Kellogg’s, and more—all while generating exposure for Paramount’s John Wayne DVD Collection and Baby Einstein via traditional media outlets.
Building and nurturing enduring relationships and making a positive impact are at the heart of everything Kate does. Her work with Tyson Foods’ CEO and Women’s Business Resource Group (WBRG) helped address equal pay issues and improve parental leave policies. She believes corporate responsibility is of paramount importance in reducing or reversing systemic inadequacies surrounding diversity, ethics, environmental, social, and economic matters.
Kate has an M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Electronic Media from Wartburg College. Kate enjoys the visual arts, fashion, music, history, astrophysics, design, and spending time with family and friends. She spends her free time exploring nature, creating art, taking “hot girl walks”, practicing yoga, or traveling the globe.
